Programme Manager
Job Purpose:
To manage change, improvement, NPI and rate-readiness projects across the business.
Key Accountabilities:
- PROGRAMME EXECUTION: Programmes will be led through a gated process through the programme life cycle. This is to ensure successful execution of the business case, industrial footprint, technology insertion, supply chain management and engineering/manufacture to rate-capable right first time maturity.
- CUSTOMER INSIGHT: Building a deeply trusted relationship with all the right stakeholders with an exhaustive understanding of the program requirements & Ways of Working.
- INTEGRATED PROGRAMME TEAM PERFORMANCE: Securing, developing and leading a high performing multi-disciplined ‘IPT’. Improving and implementing processes to run the IPT and benefit the programme function and RLC business as a whole.
- PROGRAMME OPERATIONS: To closely interface and mutually leverage existing operations & relationships to ensure today’s opportunities/challenges support the current and future business.
- BUDGET & COST OPTIMISATION: Programmes of work must be delivered within budget and there must be a continual drive for cost optimisation (improving margin and cash) across the programme whilst satisfying the customer and contractual commitments.
- CONTRACT & CHANGE MANAGEMENT: Ensure all contractual RLC and Customer obligations are clearly understood and executed in a timely and appropriate manner. In particular, a tight focus on change control is essential (to avoid scope creep, margin erosion or additional programme risk).
- TECHNOLOGY: Partnering with Engineering & Quality to optimise Right First Time and the application of existing and new technologies that RLC can use and/or replace to provide customer and RLC benefit.
- COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE: A comprehensive understanding of the current and future competitive landscape to defend/increase existing positions.

RLC Engineering Group is a world class provider of components & services to the Aerospace industry. Located on the Isle of Man, we are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support our CNC machining division.
The suitable candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of defining and delivering efficient CNC machining processes for a wide range of 2 thru to 5axis work centres. Strong fundamentals in CAD, CAD/CAM and CNC programming are required.
We are seeking a person with a “can do” attitude who will work as part of a team with minimal supervision to deliver world class results. You will be an integral part of an engineering team that defines and implements efficient defect free processes for new and existing product lines that are conducive with current aerospace manufacturing techniques.

RLC ARE RECRUITING FOR MULTIPLE EXPERIENCED INSPECTORS
We are recruiting for skilled Inspectors across all shifts including, days, nights and weekend days.
Reporting to the Value Stream Manager/Quality Engineer, the Skilled Inspector will be responsible for ensuring all Delivered parts have been Manufactured, Processed, Inspected, Packed & Released in accordance with all Customer, Ext.Body Accreditation (AS9100) and Internal Requirements and are 100% Conforming .
Main Duties
• Interpretation of Blueprints and Inspection of complex Aerospace components using 1st Principles, Inspection Equipment and CMMs
• Prove out of new product and pass off prior to batch production including correlation of CMM results by independent means.
• Running of CMMs and interpretation of results.
• Completion of FAI reports to AS9100 requirements using Visual FAI software.
• Completion of MSA /R & R studies and interpretation of results.
• Creation of QAD documents defining in process checks to operational staff.
• Calibration of product tooling as required.
• Visual Inspection of Product to Customer Drawings and Standard Work Instruction including setting of visual standards.
• Maintenance and correlation of all related paperwork ensuring traceability is maintained.
