SENIOR STRATEGIC SOURCING SPECIALIST - RLC CALLENDER, LANCASHIRE

Main Duties & Responsibilities include:

Own, manage and implement the supply chain sourcing and commercial solutions from supplier selection, tendering process, commercial and contract negotiation through to contract award & implementation and order placement.
Responsible to implement supplier and commodity strategies which drive sustainable improvements in overall supply chain performance.
Responsible to ensure procurement costs are controlled and opportunities for savings are identified & implemented.
Deliver sourcing project portfolio aligning to relevant sourcing plans of record and our business and Procurement metrics (e.g. return on investment, savings, schedule).

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER - RLC RONALDSWAY, ISLE OF MAN

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our busy Engineering Department. RLC Engineering Group is a world class provider of components & services to the Aerospace industry. Located on the Isle of Man, we are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support our CNC machining division.

The suitable candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of defining and delivering efficient CNC machining processes for a wide range of 2 thru to 5axis work centres. Strong fundamentals in CAD, CAD/CAM and CNC programming are required.

We are seeking a person with a “can do” attitude who will work as part of a team with minimal supervision to deliver world class results. A hands-on role in which the Maintenance Engineer will report directly to the Maintenance Team Leader and is directly responsible for carrying out any maintenance activity, as deemed necessary in order to meet the needs of the business.

NDT LEVEL 2 OPERATOR - RLC CALLENDER, LANCASHIRE

RLC are recruiting for multiple NDT Level 2 Operators.

Job Purpose

The inspection of aerospace components, ensuring the parts are processed to the highest standard following internal and customer requirements.

Main Duties

Processing of parts through the FPI process and producing non-conformance reports as required.
Completion of all associated records in an accurate and efficient manner.
Ability to work to company standard work instructions as defined by the quality and the leadership team.
Achieve high standards of quality in line with targeted levels of output whilst working safely and maintaining full product traceability.
Provide constructive verbal and written feedback to Value Stream Manager and Quality with regards to potential issues and improvements.
Once trained, aid with chemical additions and tank changes to processing lines.
Once trained, complete acid etch and blue etch anodise inspection of parts prior to PT testing.

Job Purpose

RLC Manufacturing Engineers are responsible for creating and delivering world class manufacturing solutions. Working across multiple manufacturing disciplines as part of a world-class engineering team that deliver new capabilities into the business.

Main Duties

Create, validate and establish the manufacturing controls for the detailed operations within the machining processes, for aerofoils, turned features, 2Ds and other specific features & specifications
Provide NC programs, fixtures and process instructions which deliver solutions within agreed timescales and to an agreed cost
Interpreting and assessing technical requirements of products from 3D models, 2D engineering drawings, specifications and instructions;
Identify and eliminate, within the documented method, all potential sources of non-conformance utilising PFMEA risk mitigation, yield analysis, process surveillance, Operator training and hazard reviews
Build in advanced quality planning principles to process and product design at all stages of industrialisation
Ensure thorough-out the development and validation process that effective change control is maintained and that each process is developed with the highest level of attention to detail in all aspects of the process, e.g. tool specifications and controlling tool lives, mismatch geometries and locations

We are recruiting for skilled Inspectors across all shifts including, days, nights and weekend days.

Reporting to the Value Stream Manager/Quality Engineer, the Skilled Inspector will be responsible for ensuring all Delivered parts have been Manufactured, Processed, Inspected, Packed & Released in accordance with all Customer, Ext.Body Accreditation (AS9100) and Internal Requirements and are 100% Conforming .

Main Duties
• Interpretation of Blueprints and Inspection of complex Aerospace components using 1st Principles, Inspection Equipment and CMMs
• Prove out of new product and pass off prior to batch production including correlation of CMM results by independent means.
• Running of CMMs and interpretation of results.
• Completion of FAI reports to AS9100 requirements using Visual FAI software.
• Completion of MSA /R & R studies and interpretation of results.
• Creation of QAD documents defining in process checks to operational staff.
• Calibration of product tooling as required.
• Visual Inspection of Product to Customer Drawings and Standard Work Instruction including setting of visual standards.
